Today news are talking about the poligamist compound in Eldorado, Texas. The group is FLDS - fundamentalist Latter Day Saints or fundamentalist mormon.
This segment in the mormon church increase the bad judgements about this church from outsiders, which may be very unfair. I am not mormon, but, during my foreign exchange student in Oregon, I spend my year with a mormon family (not fundamentalist), went to church with them every Sunday and I truly respect their faith and teachings.
Of course, what was found to be happening in the Texan compound doesn't look right to me.
